In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 53-50 triumph over the Hammond Morton Governors.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a North Central match, on Friday, December 29. Hanover Central will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Berries enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to La Porte (La Porte, IN).
