Michigan High School Basketball - Summit Academy North thwarts Hamtramck

The Summit Academy North (Romulus, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Hamtramck Cosmos (Hamtramck, MI), 49-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI). The Eagles go into the Freelance test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Lincoln-King Academy went down by Lighthouse College Prep Academy (Gary, IN), 63-62, in a non-league test.
The Cosmos now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Carman-Ainsworth for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Hamtramck will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 69-64 non-league win over Hamady (Flint, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.
