Georgia High School Basketball - Towns County can't hold off Hayesville

The Hayesville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Towns County Indians to 58 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rabun County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Hayesville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 80-78 non-league win over Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-9.
The Indians (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Polk County was nudged by Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 80-78, in a non-league contest.
