Ohio High School Basketball - South Point holds off Huntington

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) and the visiting Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), saw South Point's basketball squad hold off Huntington by a tally of 59-57.

With the victory, South Point improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Spring Valley lost 62-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV)

Next up, the Highlanders confront the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Huntington will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
