South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jeffersonville Red Devils (Jeffersonville, IN), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Bend Riley upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Elkhart (Elkhart, IN) to play the Lions in a Northern Indiana bout on Thursday, January 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Elkhart lost 63-60 in their recent non-league bout against La Porte (La Porte, IN)

Next up, the Red Devils play the New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN) in a Hoosier Hills bout, on Friday, January 5. Jeffersonville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 69-67 league win over Seymour (Seymour, IN).
