The Joliet West Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Pontiac Indians to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Joliet West will battle a Trevians team coming off a 89-49 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 11-1.
The Indians (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints enter the Illini Prairie contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Bloomington Central Catholic was defeated by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 55-49, in a non-league contest.
