Texas High School Basketball - Joshua overwhelmed by Saginaw

The Saginaw Rough Riders basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Joshua Owls to 41 in the Rough Riders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedale for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Saginaw will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 81-55 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-1.

The Owls (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Rider was routed by Decatur (Decatur, TX), 76-53, in a non-league contest.
