Junction Eagles (Junction, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX), 77-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Junction upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to San Angelo HomeSchool (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Medina will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Crushers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to Dilley (Dilley, TX).
