The La Academia Charter basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack to 50 in the non-league victory on Thursday.
The now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. La Academia Charter will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 72-69 non-league loss to Rock Creek Christian Academy White (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-1.
The WolfPack (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newport (Newport, PA). The Buffaloes come into the Tri-Valley contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Newport dropped by Susquenita (Duncannon, PA), 63-31, in a non-league contest.
