Nanih Waiya Warriors (Louisville, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS), 46-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nanih Waiya upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors host McAdams (McAdams, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-5. McAdams lost 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS)
Next up, the Raiders play the Victory Christian Eagles (Columbus, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
