The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN), 76-75 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen go into the AA Section 6 test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Melrose got by Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN), 79-54, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Concordia Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Litchfield will encounter a Beacons squad coming off a 79-54 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Beacons record now stands at 3-5.
