San Antonio Christian Lions (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Logos Prep Academy Lions (Sugar Land, TX), 83-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, San Antonio Christian upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Lions host St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to play the Bloodhounds in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a record of 9-8. St. Joseph Academy lost 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Faith West Academy Eagles (Katy, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Logos Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 64-47 non-league loss to FBCHA (Richmond, TX).
