The Zimmerman Thunder basketball team scored 90 points and held the visiting Menahga Braves to 56 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunder now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Big Lake for a AAA Section 5 contest on Thursday, January 4. Zimmerman will meet a Hornets team coming off a 72-50 non-league loss to Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.

The Braves (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Warroad (Warroad, MN). The Warriors enter the AA Section 8 contest with a 5-4 record.
