The Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) basketball knocked off the host Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), 47-37 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Effingham went down by Charleston (Charleston, IL), 62-33, in a league test.
