The St. Patrick Shamrocks basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Minooka Indians to 57 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. St. Patrick will meet a Dukes team coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Dukes record now stands at 11-3.

The Indians (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Nazareth Academy fell by Lemont (Lemont, IL), 56-55, in a non-league game.
