Indiana High School Basketball - Sheridan edges Monroe Central

The Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) basketball nipped the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 55-48 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Blackhawks (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Trojans go into the Hoosier Heartland test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Tri-Central got by Waldron (Waldron, IN), 65-35, in a non-league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Monroe Central will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to GEO Next Generation (Indianapolis, IN). The Rockets record now stands at 1-6.
