In Thursday's non-league outing, the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) basketball squad beat the host Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), by a margin of 39-25.

The Storm (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Milford (Milford, IL). The Bearcats go into the Vermilion Valley outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Milford defeated Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, IN), 59-43, in a non-league outing.
