Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County ripped by Narrows

The Narrows Green Waves basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Pulaski County Cougars to 29 in the Green Waves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Green Waves now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a Pioneer contest on Thursday, January 4. Narrows will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-8.

The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots enter the River Ridge contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry triumphed over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 64-39, in a league contest.
