The Nimitz Cougars basketball team (Houston, TX), dropped 59-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX)

The Unicorns now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brazoswood for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. New Braunfels will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 61-58 non-league win over Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-9.

The Cougars (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Alvin dropped by Alief Taylor (Houston, TX), 49-42, in a league battle.
