Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trinity Christian Academy Eagles (Deltona, FL), 59-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Owsley County upgrades its record to 2-10 on the season. The Owls / Lady Owls travel to Sunbright (Sunbright, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Sunbright lost 56-35 in their recent non-league bout against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Trinity Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 76-39 non-league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY).
