Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX), 78-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheeler upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Panhandle Christian Home Educators (Amarillo, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Panhandle Christian Home Educators won 58-28 in their recent non-league bout against Amarillo Collegiate Academy (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Dragons play the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Paducah will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 69-46 non-league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX).
