The Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) basketball knocked off the host Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL), 62-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Bolingbrook notched a victory over York (Elmhurst, IL), 55-42, in a non-league test.
The Foxes now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie test on Friday, January 5. Yorkville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 71-60 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.
