Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX), 74-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sachse upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Anna (Anna, TX) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Anna won 59-58 in their recent non-league bout against Melissa (Melissa, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Prosper will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, TX).
