In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Salome Frogs basketball team scored a good 51-42 triumph over the Ray Bearcats.

In their next game, the Frogs meet the St. Michael Cardinals (St. Michaels, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Salome will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-11 record after their 64-52 non-league loss to Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ).
