Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rogers Rams (Toledo, OH), 59-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southview upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Findlay (Findlay, OH) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Findlay won 53-44 in their recent non-league bout against Memorial (St. Marys, OH)

Next up, the Rams play the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 63-57 non-league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI).
