Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) and the host United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN), saw Sibley East's basketball squad knock off United South Central by a count of 71-62.

With the victory, Sibley East upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to play the Buccaneers in a AA Section 2 challenge on Friday, December 29. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Rebels play the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars (Granada, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Friday, December 29. United South Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
