The Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) basketball felled the host Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL), 53-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Lake Nona (Orlando, FL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Lake Nona went down by Excel Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL), 61-53, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Excel Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Southwest will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
