Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Suffield upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Lewis Mills won 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against Middletown (Middletown, CT)

Next up, the Warriors play the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Wamogo Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 63-33 non-league loss to Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT).
