The Sylvan Hills Bears basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Watson Chapel Wildcats to 44 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacksonville for a 5A Central contest on Tuesday, January 2. Sylvan Hills will battle a Titans team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, AR). The Titans record now stands at 10-7.

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR). The Comets come into the 4A Region 8 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Mills University Studies was defeated by Russellville (Russellville, AR), 63-56, in a non-league contest.
