In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) basketball squad beat the visiting Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK), by a margin of 65-52.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Service defeated Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK), 49-33, in a non-league outing.

The Falcons now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Sitka for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. Thunder Mountain will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Kodiak (Kodiak, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 5-1.
