Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olympian upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Eagles host Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Canyon Hills won 47-45 in their recent league bout against Kearny (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Sultans clash with the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Santana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 58-42 non-league win over Morse (San Diego, CA).
