Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Washington (Washington, PA) to play the Prexies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Prexies go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Washington lost 54-16 in their recent non-league bout against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)

Next up, the Colonials play the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Albert Gallatin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA).
