In Thursday's non-league outing, the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), by a margin of 50-38.
The Quips (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Moon Area defeated Rochester (Rochester, PA), 60-39, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blackhawk for a WPIAL 4A 2 outing on Wednesday, January 3. Central Valley will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 43-35 non-league win over Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-2.
