McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Allen Eagles (Allen, TX), 53-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McKinney North upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to play the Sandies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Sandies go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Amarillo won 58-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
