Texas High School Basketball - Belton tipped by Anderson

The Anderson Trojans basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Belton Tigers to 39 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Anderson will meet a Eagles team coming off a 80-39 non-league win over Crockett (Austin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.

The Tigers (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Bastrop (Bastrop, TX). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Bastrop was nudged by Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX), 63-30, in a league contest.
