North Carolina High School Basketball - Madison tops Andrews

December 28, 2023: Andrews, NC 28901

Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 57-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to play the Maroon Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Maroon Devils come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Swain County lost 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
