In Thursday's non-league outing, the Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX), by a margin of 39-18.

The Colts (4-12) will now prepare for their bout against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Azle overwhelmed Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 46-27, in a league bout.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Western Hills Cougars (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Benbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
