St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 73-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Amant upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Gators host Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to clash with the Pelicans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 3-9.
Next up, the Rebels clash with the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Atkinson County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 40-34 non-league win over Echols County (Statenville, GA).
