In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA), by a count of 53-24.
The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Falcons go into the 1A Emerald Sound outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, South Whidbey was crushed by LaConner (LaConner, WA), 73-34, in a non-league outing.
The Firewolves now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Vistamar for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6.
