North Penn Knights (Lansdale, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 70-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Penn upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA) to play the Skins in a Suburban One - National bout on Friday, January 5. The Skins come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Neshaminy won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Farragut (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Bishop Shanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Churchmen come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 48-25 non-league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA).
