California High School Basketball - Kennedy can't hold off Bishop Union

December 28, 2023: Bishop, CA 93514

The Bishop Union Broncos basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds to 37 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Broncos now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Bishop Union will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-23 non-league win over Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.

The Thunderbirds (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Templeton was nudged by Eastside (Lancaster, CA), 60-23, in a non-league contest.
