Kentucky High School Basketball - Blazer holds off Ryle

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the host Ryle Raiders (Union, KY), saw Blazer's basketball squad hold off Ryle by a tally of 66-64.

With the victory, Blazer improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Elliott County lost 51-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Ryle will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Covington, KY).
