The Central Valley Bears basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Moses Lake Mavericks to 45 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Central Valley will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 69-46 non-league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-8.

The Mavericks (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Mt. Spokane was defeated by Issaquah (Issaquah, WA), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
