Central Rebels (Park Hills, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Festus Tigers (Festus, MO), 70-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to West County (Leadwood, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-8. West County lost 70-41 in their recent non-league bout against Festus (Festus, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) in a Jefferson County - Large bout, on Monday, January 1. Festus will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 69-47 non-league win over Valley (Caledonia, MO).
