The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs basketball team (Iselin, NJ), was toppled 63-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ)
The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caldwell for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 4. Columbia will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 54-32 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-1.
The Mustangs (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, McNair Academic was toppled by Snyder (Jersey City, NJ), 35-31, in a league battle.
