Ohio High School Basketball - Columbia nips Perkins

Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH), 43-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Raiders host Keystone (La Grange, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Lorain County 8 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Keystone won 40-28 in their recent non-league bout against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH)
Next up, the Pirates play the Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Perkins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Whippets go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to Smithville (Smithville, OH).
