With the victory, Millsap upgrades its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Dublin (Dublin, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Dublin won 51-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Commerce will attempt to upgrade on its 20-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 60-38 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX).
