In Thursday's non-league outing, the Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) basketball squad beat the host Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), by a margin of 67-59.
The Indians (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Childress (Childress, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Childress defeated Graham (Graham, TX), 47-21, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Muleshoe for a 3A Region I District 3 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Denver City will clash with a Mules squad coming off a 50-43 league win over Friona (Friona, TX). The Mules record now stands at 4-10.
