The Erie-Mason Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Richard Pioneers to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milan for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Erie-Mason will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 40-35 league win over Jefferson (Monroe, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 2-3.
The Pioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was defeated by Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 46-38, in a league match.
