Virginia High School Basketball - Mechanicsville tops Freeman

Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), 43-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mechanicsville upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Thomas Jefferson lost 46-12 in their recent non-league bout against King William (King William, VA)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial bout, on Friday, December 29. Freeman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 46-12 non-league loss to King William (King William, VA).
